R5-F7 is an astromech droid belonging to the R5 series from the Star Wars universe. Like other droids in the R5 line, R5-F7 features the characteristic conical head and a more budget-friendly design that often resulted in less reliable performance compared to the advanced R2 series. However, R5-F7 made its mark serving the Rebel Alliance with its robust and durable construction that was suitable for operating under harsh conditions.
